Exclusive Righteous Kill Photos

ComingSoon.net has your exclusive first look at two new photos from director Jon Avnet's Righteous Kill. The thriller, starring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, 50 Cent, Donnie Wahlberg and Carla Gugino, hits theaters on September 12.

In the film, a pair of veteran New York City police detectives are on the trail of a vigilante serial killer. After 30 years as partners in the pressure cooker environment of the NYPD, highly decorated Detectives David Fisk and Thomas Cowan should be ready for retirement, but aren't. Before they can hang up their badges, they are called in to investigate the murder of a notorious pimp, which appears to have ties to a case they solved years before. Like the original murder, the victim is a suspected criminal whose body is found accompanied by a four line poem justifying the killing. When additional crimes take place, it becomes clear the detectives are looking for a serial killer, one who targets criminals that have fallen through the cracks of the judicial system. His mission is to do what the cops can't do on their own--take the culprits off the streets for good. The similarities between the recent killings and their earlier case raise a nagging question: Did they put the wrong man behind bars?

sorry but I dont care about either one of these guys. I just think they are severely over rated. Ronin stunk anyway.

Jon Avnet. 88 Minutes?? Rings any bells? Pacino and Deniro pair have a great potential if the movie is directed by capable directors (e.g. Michael Mann (Heat). I think Avnet will screw this up again.

billy mcgrath, are you kidding? these two are not over rated, they have some of the most popular and influential films of all time..."Godfather 2," "Carlito's Way" "Scarface" "Heat." For you to think that these two are bad is to pretty much hate all movies

Not being a jerk but how old are you? If you are a teen and still watch MTV, I won't hold it against you because you might not have been exposed to older movies. If not, wow, every guy I know likes at least most of the movies these two have been in. If you still do watch MTV, stop and turn on HBO or Showtime and look for movies these two are in.

Somsom you're just as bad as the guy above negatively criticizing the two most influential actors of the 70s and 80's!! First off the thread is about Righteous Kill and not some fantasy wizard kid played by a 21 year old guy. and Secondly, all someone has to say is "I liked Scarface or Godfather and they'd be the one of the smartest movie critics i've heard since reading posts here.

He's 19 only 3 years older than his character. you have dozens of films where the actor is older than the character it's common. Plus i do like scarface and the Godfather
