But John's acting skills seem a bit limited when it comes to the powerhouse emotional scenes. He simply doesn't do them justice. At all.
So unless he has a fantastic and demanding director (which he rarely seems to have had on Torchwood), John's acting prowess may not be up to the dramatic requirements of a big-screen lead role.

Yeah, I had some serious doubts about Daniel Craig as James Bond. After all, the guy has never been a spy, how is he supposed to be convincing if he has no real-life experience?
Way to miss the whole point of acting, which is to pretend something you're not!
