The Brothers Bloom Trailer Hits

The trailer for writer/director Rian Johnson's The Brothers Bloom is now online. Opening October 24th, the film stars Adrien Brody, Rachel Weisz, Mark Ruffalo, Rinko Kikuchi and Robbie Coltrane.

The Brothers Bloom tells the tale of the Bloom brothers, two young con men whose lives change forever upon meeting a beautiful young heiress named Penelope (Weisz). While initially, the brothers plan to con her, she becomes an unlikely partner in their latest scheme. The plot thickens when Penelope's beauty and brains enchants one of the brothers, and threatens to break a lifelong bond of kinship. The Brothers Bloom is a thrilling story full of genuine humor and heart-warming romance.

So it's like "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" with a little bit of "The Fabulous Baker Boys" but with prettier people. Nice.

Looks like it will be a great time and an instant classic. The cast is wonderful and who doesn't like a well-written heist film. I've been waiting for this one.

I thought this was a sequal to BROTHERS GRIMM... that movie was pure terribly awfullness.

Hmm... I hope Rian Johnson wasn't a one-hit wonder. He has a great cast here, let's not screw this up

I saw a screening a month or so back. If they didn't have to make many cuts then you will not be disappointed at all; I wasn't expecting it to be nearly as enjoyable as it was.
