Two The Day the Earth Stood Still Posters!

20th Century Fox has sent us two posters for sci-fi thriller The Day the Earth Stood Still, opening in theaters on December 12. In the film, Keanu Reeves portrays Klaatu, an alien whose arrival on our planet triggers a global upheaval. As governments and scientists race to unravel the mystery behind the visitor's appearance, a woman (Jennifer Connelly) and her young stepson get caught up in his mission – and come to understand the ramifications of his being a self-described "friend to the Earth."

Okay, unless 20th Century Fox are purposefully lying and f***king with the audience, then I'm pretty damn certain that Gort will be in it.

This movie won't be complete without Gort! I'm glad 'cause it looks like they're sticking to the original concept.
