July 22, 2008

Video Business has confirmed that Paramount Home Entertainment has set a September 30 release for Iron Man on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.

Amazon.com is currently accepting pre-orders for Iron Man and lists the title as being offered in three different versions - a Two-Disc Special Collector's Edition, a Special Collector's Edition Blu-ray Disc and a Single-Disc Edition.

Marvel Studios will pass out a flash drive containing a sneak peek of the DVD at its Comic-Con booth this week.

I already pre-ordered it on Blu-Ray!!! :)... Even though now it looks like a B movie compared to The Dark Knight.

Fahad and Iron Man have something in common: they both fail. Stop acting like this is the greatest movie ever made. It was overly pretentious and mediocre at best. The only reason it did so well in theaters is because there was nothing else to see! If this went up against TDK, The Incredible Hulk, or even Wall-E it would be a completely different story.

Tuwind-Talk about pretentious. You just claimed that Iron Man wasn't as good as the Hulk. I'd say it was equal if not better.

Enlighten me with some more of your humbleness...please.

Thank you, Johnathan. Iron Man was totally better than Hulk and the coolest part of Hulk was when Tony Stark showed up at the end. Hulk didn't have the comedic edge that Iron Man possesses. When I saw Iron Man the second time it was just as enjoyable, but Hulk kind of wore off after get over the 'bad-ass' effect and you already know what's gonna happen. Don't get me wrong, Hulk was great, he can smash but he can't fly like Iron Man.

I can't wait to pick the Blu-Ray up. Iron Man is the best movie of the summer by far, The Dark Knight doesn't even come close.

Nothing compares to The Dark Knight. R.I.P. Heath Ledger. The Joker character was mind-blowing. Just like the movie. I also agree with Tuwind. Iron man did have no competition until chonicles of narnia came out and that movie wasnt good enough for Iron man. Let it get paired up with TDK, Hulk, or even Wall-E. It wouldnt have done as good. TDK will crush Iron man. And im going to help it do that. I've already seen it twice. Going a third time sometime at the end of this week or maybe next week. Why So Serious?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAHHAAAAAHAHAHa

I'll be getting this on Blu-ray. It was good and since everyone is debating here I'll say the dark knight is better as it is the best movie of the year.

I feel like I'm reading a video game forum with all of the little fanboy remarks flying around. Iron Man and TDK both were great movies and deserved the sales they got. I will gladly pick both up on DVD.
