Pitt and DiCaprio are Tarantino's Bastards?

Variety reports that Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Bastards is searching for a co-financing partner to handle offshore territories for the WWII drama with intersecting storylines.

The director met with Brad Pitt in France on Tuesday to talk about the possibility of Pitt playing the key role of Aldo Raine. Tarantino also plans to meet with Leonardo DiCaprio for another lead role, that of Hans Landa, on Thursday.

DiCaprio and Pitt would be appearing in a Tarantino-helmed project for the first time, though Pitt previously spoke Tarantino-scripted dialogue in a small but memorable stoner turn in the Tony Scott-directed True Romance.

The film will shoot this fall in Germany and also in France, where Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been residing.

Spike Lee informed QT that if there weren't enough black people in Bastards, he would personally beat the hell out of Quentin. Regardless of historical accuracy, Lee claims to know at least six black people who fought in World War 2, and he's sure there are more. This is his commitment to film realism, and isn't at all related to the fact the Spike missed the Black Panthers by about thirty years.

no only poeple who like that exagerated bad acting films does, i see no talent in those type of films but R. Dogs was a great film thats what he needs to do again not the exact same but that had great-ness to the story, i mean c'mon. but if this is not like those stupid grindhouse films then i take it back and hope for the best in him.

First off. TerreF15... You have the decade of the "throw back" which was Grindhouse completely wrong. It was 70's over exaggerated gore and poor story which made the movie completely awsome. But I can understand why a jack hole with no taste or correct knowledge of such a time of double late night features may think ill of a great piece of work. Stick to your Mountain Dew in your parents basement then do use all a favor and shoot yourself at the peak of you caffine high. Not because you disliked the film style, but because you already hit this open forum four times with nothing interesting to say and you clearly have no life anyway. Have a nice day!

Amazing. This will be Tarantino's best film. Dicaprio as a Nazi detective is a great touch. Plus a purely badass role for Pitt. I can't wait.

"That would make this more cooler"

That's the most smartest thing I've ever read.
