Super Short Harry Potter 6 Teaser Coming to IMAX?

Source:Renata
July 10, 2008

We previously mentioned that the teaser trailer for Warner Bros.' Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince would not hit theaters with the studio's own The Dark Knight on Friday, July 18th.

It looks like moviegoers who go see it in IMAX, however, might just get a super brief glimpse at the sixth installment. Scooper 'Renata' contacted IMAX who told her that there will be a 15 second teaser for "Half-Blood Prince." Our guess is that it's just announcing that the movie is coming to IMAX as well.

We still have no official word on when the trailer is coming to theaters.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince opens on November 21.

15 seconds? That's only enough time for the logo!

I heard somewhere else it would be 40 seconds. That makes more sense, but it still sucks. Given how long it took WB to show anything about the movie, it should be a proper trailer, not a teaser.

I think the trailer will come out in The Dark Knight
but WB wants it as a suprise.
Think HP 6 is 4 months away. Still not even a teaser. The Dark Knight is the biggest film of the year probably so it will be there.
Paramount did the suprise thing with Cloverfield at Transformers remember?

So what if we don't see the trailer.
If you've read the book you already know what's going to happen.
Don't bother me with some stupid 15second trailer.

So yeah...NOvember is around the corner and we only have, like, eight stills? No teaser? No nothing. No advanced merchandise pics? Am I the only one who thinks they haven't really made this movie, or that it totally sucks, they know it, and are afraid of showing us anything cause we'll know too?

The movie sucks just like the 5th. That is why WB is afraid of showing us what a mistake they made by hiring David yates. "Sick Yates"
