The Trailers with The Dark Knight?

With The Dark Knight hitting theaters on July 18, many are wondering which trailers they can expect to be released with such a highly-anticipated movie. ComingSoon.net has now confirmed which trailers Warner Bros. Pictures will be debuting.

There's been much speculation that we'll be seeing the first trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but it looks like Harry Potter fans will have to wait a bit longer for the first footage. Our guess is it will be shown with the studio's Star Wars: The Clone Wars on August 15, but that's not confirmed.

Instead, what you can expect are the first trailers for Warner Bros.' Terminator Salvation (May 22, 2009), which of course also stars Christian Bale, Zack Snyder's graphic novel adaptation Watchmen (Mar. 6, 2009), and the Ridley Scott-directed thriller Body of Lies (Oct. 10), with Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe.

to 'crazyish': only reason why T4 can beat watchmen is PG-13 rating while watchmen is R-rated & 3 hour movie... but I still believe WATCHMEN can kick ass and blow all other movies next year

dont get me wrong T2 is in my TOP5 all time list but that was Cameron and T4 is not Cameron

It will be the surprise love scene with Harry and Ron in the trailer. Hermoine will be holding a majic videocamera. *rolls eyes*

Looking forward to Dark Knight, could care less about the trailers.

F***ing douches.
Clearly they're all bollocks and off their rockers. Removing the Harry Potter trailer (the most Epic movie of the year) from the showing of batman? (the second most epic movie of the yea). Nuh uh girlfriend.
I am so pissed. My whole year's been turned into hedge hog ****. A Hulking hedge hog. What am i to do with my life? The reason for going to the movie was for the harry potter trailer, which is just as good as the movie, if not better.
Good bye cruel world . .. good luck living without me. Me who is as essential as oxygen to life . . .

I would also really like to see trailers for Rush Hour 4 and Fast and the Furious : Sydney Trails. I think these films will redefine how we look at summer blockbusters in the future and if we are lucky, cinema as a whole.

What the hell is wrong with Warner Brothers? Their marketing of Harry Potter 6 is completely different from the other movies in that it consists of letting the fans starve to death. Up 'till last week, there was no news, no pictures, no nothing. And now I have to endure the fact that movies coming out in TWO THOUSAND FREAKING NINE have trailers showing in The Dark Knight and not HBP. It's way more enfuriating than these HP trolls - after all, they are just pathetic.
When the thing comes, it better be a REAL trailer and not a teaser, or else heads will roll!

I'm not deeming Potter an adult franchise, but it seems brutally inconsistent with the new, mature direction the movies have taken to release Prince's first trailer with a half-assed animated Star Wars prequel spin-off that will rake in the ten-year-olds who haven't yet figured out the atrocities of the prequels. It's statistically proven that Potter fans have aged with the franchise and that, as always, adults make up a majority of its audience. It's difficult to find someone who actually still thinks Potter is primarily a childrens' product.
