Below you will find TV spots 2 and 3 for Chris Carter's The X-Files: I Want to Believe back-to-back in one player! Opening July 25, the mystery-thriller stars David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Xzibit, Amanda Peet, Billy Connolly, Callum Keith Rennie and Adam Godley.

The film is a stand-alone story in the tradition of some of the show's most acclaimed and beloved episodes, and takes the complicated relationship between Fox Mulder (Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson) in unexpected directions. Mulder continues his unshakable quest for the truth, and Scully, the passionate, ferociously intelligent physician, remains inextricably tied to Mulder's pursuits.

The release date of this film is highly unfortunate. Maybe at the end of August this movie would have been able to break the 100 million mark, but with "The Dark Knight" the previous week and "Tropic Thunder" and the new Mummy movie things don't look good for this film.

That being said I will definitely see this between repeat viewings of "The Dark Knight". I loved the series and I hope to love this film. I want to love.
