Threesome to Serve Beer in Hell

July 8, 2008

Matt Czuchry, Jesse Bradford and Geoff Stults will star in the Bob Gosse-directed I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell, an adaptation of the bawdy best-selling memoir of Tucker Max.

The Hollywood Reporter says Max rose to fame after launching TuckerMax.com in 2002, garnering millions of unique site visitors to read his short stories and a $300,000 advance for his alcohol-fueled memoir for Penguin Books.

The film, written by Max and Nils Parker, follows his trip to a friend's bachelor party, where he ensnares the groom in a lie that threatens the wedding, then abandons him to pursue further carnal knowledge. After being banned from the nuptials, Max attempts to get back into his friend's good graces.

Czuchry will play Tucker Max, marking the actor's first starring role in a feature film. Bradford and Stults will play Max's best friends.

Rounding out the cast are Keri Lynn Pratt (ABC's "Brothers & Sisters") and Denise Quinones ("The Bedford Diaries"). The film begins principal photography July 21 on location in Shreveport, La.

Eh. Bring It On, 7th Heaven dudes... Can't picture them pooping all through the halls of a hotel. Maybe I could.

Wow I thought this was going to be related to 300. Like "tonight we dine in hell". Man was I disappointed.

Btw there's no such thing as hell. Seriously.

WOW, don't turn this into a religious debate. Dude, these comment boards are to discuss movies. So, keep your personal thoughts about religion to yourself rather than insulting and slamming people of faith.

Anyway, this movie sounds kinda lame to me. But that's just an opinion. It could end up being a really funny comedy if done right.
