Okay. This site plays to the fans, right? People who will check out all these movies regardless. So, what's with the overkill of footage? 13 DK clips? Does no one want to be even a little bit surprised anymore?
I think it's notable that last week saw a number of posts here conjecturing that perhaps too much is being given out. Tease me, baby, yeah... but don't give away the whole store!
The Dark Knight does follow the tradition of hiring popular actors to portray the villainous characters that inhabit Gotham City. But unlike the wonderful performances of Cesar Romero as the 60's Joker or Eartha Kitt as Catwoman, the Dark Knight favors dreary performances from Oscar caliber actors like Gary Oldman and Micheal Caine that seem out of place in this superhero movie.
My suggestion is if you want to see some great Batman fun this weekend go rent 1998's Batman and Robin which features great performances from George Clooney and Uma Thurman and returns to the fun of the TV show. Also for the kids check out the comic books that are based on the TV show.
wow.
P.S.: The Joker REALLY knows how to be a GANGSTA!
what is he smoking?
Batman and Robin... ROFL wow...that film was a joke..
I think those corny films are the reasons why Chris Nolan wanted to reboot the franchise...
