New Punisher: War Zone Posters Revealed

Punisher: War Zone producer Gale Anne Hurd hosted a party for star Ray Stevenson at Vertical Wine Bistro on June 24, 2008 in Pasadena, California. On display at the party were these two new posters for the film. More images from the party are available here!

Co-starring Dominic West, Doug Hutchinson, Colin Salmon, Wayne Knight, Dash Mihok and Julie Benz, the Lexi Alexander-directed action-thriller opens in theaters on December 5.

love 'em. they look like bradstreet's covers for the ennis punisher issues. should do something about that logo, though... eye-catching, not so much.

It would've been really cool if Ray was standing with two guns down at his side like Mike Zeck's "Gunsmoke" painting he did for the "Return to Big Nothing" Hardcover. With the black background and the lighting just like these posters, that pose would've rocked! IMO.

Titus is a great actor, perfect for the role. I´ve never seen any movie of that director. The trailer does not look good. In other words, i´ll wait to have an opinion. Anyway, they should hire Garth Ennis as scriptwriter.

I agree, the trailer doesn't look particularly good. I really liked the last Punisher film (especially the extended DVD cut) but am having some doubts about this one... Still I'll see it with an open mind - I just hope it'll have some story/depth to it.

The director did a popular indie movie called Hooligans...she's a former world kickboxing champion, and she's actually pretty cute. I'd do her.

And I dont know why people have such a hard on for Thomas Jane...and the first Punisher movie sucked beyond belief!!!! the only time Thomas jane really acted like the Punisher was towards the end...Ray Stevenson is perfect as the Punisher...and dont judge this movie by the first teaser trailer.
