ComingSoon.net has your exclusive first look at a new clip from Lionsgate's Bangkok Dangerous, opening in theaters on September 5. Directed by Danny and Oxide Pang, the action-thriller stars Nicolas Cage, Shahkrit Yamnarm, Charlie Yeung, Panward Hemmanee, Nirattisai Kaljaruek and Dom Hetrakul.

In the film, the life of an anonymous assassin takes an unexpected turn when he travels to Thailand to complete a series of contract killings. Joe (Cage), a remorseless hitman, is in Bangkok to execute four enemies of a ruthless crime boss named Surat. He hires Kong (Yamnarm), a street punk and pickpocket, to run errands for him with the intention of covering his tracks by killing him at the end of the assignment. Strangely, Joe, the ultimate lone wolf, instead finds himself mentoring the young man while simultaneously being drawn into a tentative romance with a local shop girl. As he falls further under the sway of Bangkok's intoxicating beauty, Joe begins to question his isolated existence and let down his guard... just as Surat decides it's time to clean house.

God he's just so old and out of shape! Look at how he runs!! A good example of how he runs is the first National Treasure. Horrible shape. He always looks like he's in pain when he runs, like it hurts him to run.

Wow, that was one of the worst shoot-outs I've ever seen. Why does Cage still get work? He's terrible.

I surely hope that this movie isn't a near reflection of this clip. The only thing that got my heart pumping was the music - and if Cage is this great assassin's as they making him out to be - he would NEVER turn his back on his TARGET EVER!

I can also notice that when they filmed that scene, they did not use actual red lights - they used white light and transfered the color in post-production - and (and I may be wrong) it seems they changed the color after they added the gun flare effects because the gun flares are colored in a red tone. To me - this is a sign of laziness - which in turn I can predict the film will reflect that.

I hope I'm wrong.
