ComingSoon.net talked exclusively to writer/director Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo), Fred Willard and Jeff Garlin about the highly-anticipated new Pixar film, WALL•E, opening in theaters on Friday, June 27.

The animated-adventure is about a determined robot named WALL•E. After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, WALL•E (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) discovers a new purpose in life (besides collecting knick-knacks) when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE. EVE comes to realize that WALL•E has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planet's future, and races back to space to report her findings to the humans (who have been eagerly awaiting word that it is safe to return home). Meanwhile, WALL•E chases EVE across the galaxy and sets into motion one of the most exciting and imaginative comedy adventures ever brought to the big screen.

Wall-e looks like a cute movie for kids and adults to enjoy but it doesn't appeal to me that much but looks rather enjoyable to everyone.

As I've said in another post, I too fully expected this to be just cutesy kid stuff. I'm pleased to admit I was WRONG, and "WALL-E" is a fine, charming, touching, visually exciting and very funny film. And the short that preceeds it is a lot of quick, classic-type fun, too.

Patience...

For me, this just looks more interesting than most of the other movies released/slated for release this year.

There's a real sense of care and attention in these Pixar pictures that you don't often see in contemporary live action efforts.

Sadly, with the exception of Dark Knight and maybe one or two others, there's not been a whole lot else that's looked really/as intriguing in 2008.

How much longer can the Studios expect us to queue up just see another rehash of a rehash of a rehash?

...I won't be mentioning 'Short Circuit' in this instance. ;-)

What ... was trying to say MovieReviewere was that your review made no sense and it sounded as if you were not human like the rest of us. Alittle eerie actually. WALL E is a family movie thats it. Really no need to disect it past that
