Bryce Dallas Howard Joining Terminator

Bryce Dallas Howard is in negotiations to replace Charlotte Gainsbourg in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Gainsbourg was originally set to play Kate Connor, the wife of human resistance hero John Connor (Christian Bale). The actress had to bow out because of scheduling conflicts with another film, a French comedy.

Production on "Terminator," directed by McG, is already underway in New Mexico. If an actors strike were to happen, shooting would stop and then restart at a later date.

Howard last starred as Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3 and next stars in the The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond.

She's really good when she has a strong script......

God I hope this means the scripts good. I mean, two respected actors like Christian Bale and Bryce Dallas Howard wouldn't sign on unless it was good, right?

By the way Bale is my favorite actor. This has to be good....

PG-13 rating... no Ah-nold... a director named "McG"... and a movie series (Terminator) that should've ended at part 2... it will take a freakin' MIRACLE for this movie to be good...

Bryce Dallas Howard is a good addition to this project and a hell of alot prettier than the actress she is replacing. Plus Bale is the man and I don't think he would sign on for three films if there wasn't a hell of a script. Only wish Cameron would come back and replace the director that sounds more like a candy...

Still no Arnold huh...well looks like im not going to see this movie after all. Dont care if Bale is in it, Arnold was the most important aspect of the Terminator movies. Him not being in this one is like Jim Carrey not being in Mask 2 and we all know how that turned out. McG should just go back to directing the crappy Charlie's Angel movies

Arnold played his part in the first three and now the war actually begins... The skeletal version of all the terminators now comes into play. I like Bryce Dallas Howard and I think she add to this movie in a great way...Christian Bale as John Connor is an awesome choice and even though I am not a fan of McG... I think this is his chance to redeem himself... With a franchise like this and actors like this... This could possibly be the break he could get from fans... This has a lot of potential to be great.
