I hope that I'm alive to see the day when Frank gets his hands on the Batman franchise, and we get to see "The Dark Knight Returns" in all of its glory! (Now wouldn't that be a cinematic event!)
No offense to Chris Nolan, I love his vision and his take, but I'm an avid proponent of seeing art in all of its varied forms and representations, and this would be one visually stunning story to behold!

Yeah I know what u guys mean about saying it looks alot like Sin City, but what were u expecting? I dont mind it looks like Sin City, becuase its a noir film and the Sin City tone will go great with that. Also considering there probably wont be a Sin City 2, its nice to see another film with that look. I hope its R though.

Also if any of you actually read the blog, you wouldve read miller say its mostly a full color movie and not black and white most of the time like Sin City.

Frank Miller was the creative driving force behind Sin City. He wrote and directed it, he brought Rodriquez and Tarantino along to bring their strong filmmaking presence to the work, but it was Miller's ideas. So, of course "The Spirit" is similar, though that does not make it a rip off.

I agree poor mans Sin City.

Look we all loved Sin City but at the end of the day it has started a bad trend making films just with Green Screen we are no stuck with this trend for at least 5 years now which sucks

There are plans for another Sin City movie, with the release date set at 2010.
I believe there were also talks for a third film.
But wether this looks like Sin City or not, I'm happy to watch another one of Millers visions, wether it was written by him or not, because he is an incredibly talented director, who brings tone and feel to his films.
I will be watching Spirit for the visuals and for the style.
And its got Samuel. L Jackson. What more could you ask for?
