The Andrew Adamson-directed film also collected $20.7 million internationally over the weekend. The first "Narnia" film made $745 million worldwide over its threatrical run.

Despite dropping to second place, Marvel Studios' Iron Man added an impressive $31.2 million in its third weekend to push its total to $222.5 million domestically. Nice to see such long legs for Iron Man. Here's hoping it joins the triple century club. God knows it deserves it more than Spider-Man 3 did.

I feel bad for Speed Racer, i thought it was pretty good. I was hoping for a Speed Racer trilogy, but I doubt we will get sequals now. Glad to see Iron Man still holding strong, it was really good. Im suprised of how much Caspian didnt make it was a good movie(I thought it wouldve had a better weekend), not as good as the 1st one though. I would understand parents not taking there kids mostly boys to speed racer and narnia when you got Indy coming up right around the corner, which will be great. I bet Indy makes over 100 mil next weekend, I will probably see it 2 or 3 times this weekend.

Iron Man was great yes but not the only one of the summer. Prince Caspian deserved the top and it will Im sure pick up lots more over the weeks because it was a fantastic movie- anyone who thinks otherwise has their expectations a little too high. Im going to see it again. Boy though do reporter need to make it sound so depressing- geez, there is a little difference in releasing it during the holidays and May. God reporters have confidence it will pick up.

I thought Speed Racer was better than Iron Man. Don't get me wrong, I liked Iron Man a lot, but Speed never deserved its negative press, at all. It was exactly the movie I wanted it to be. Biggest shame since Grindhouse.

GO Iron Man!!! Im glad its doing so well. I can't wait for hulk and eventually Captain America and Thor. Over the last 8 years it has been a great time to be a comic book geek. Dark Knight should also be great. I think its stupid that they are going to use different actors for Batman and Superman in the JLA movie. Marvel Rules anyway.
