no, not all the characters are asian, some are alien, you know, saiyans.. from the planet Vegeta. does vegeta, nappa, radditz or kakarot really sound asian. goku and gohan sound asian because gokus grandpa.. or gaurdian, whatever you want to call him, anyways, his name is gohan and he named him... but some people need to realize this already and stop complaining about every actor not being asian

Cicero that picture you posted is in fact Goku's costume (which is quite faithful to the Anime/Manga) but that is not Justin Chatwin (The actor portraying Goku) that is Justin Chatwin's stunt double Jackson Spidell.

Growing up I use to watch dragonball. A very good cartoon. Didn't know there was a Dragonball Z until one of my cousins introduced it to me. I thought it was lame, but as I began to watch it episode by episode the suspense killed me. Yes it took forever with the fighting but it was worth the watch. Even up to the Buu Saga it was awesome. Dragonball GT just sucked period. Very dissapointed. With the timeline for this movie to surface is at its good timing. I think this movie will be a success. With all the super hero movies thats come out like spiderman, iron man was a hit, x-men was a pretty good series. This is 2008. Alot of action movies has changed since Street Fighter (big dissapointment). If you make the characters look completely like the cartoon then it has a tacky feel to it. I say wait til the trailer hits and then judge a little. Then when the movie hits I know it will make alot of money like star wars. I guess we have to wait and see. Good job with the hair for goku.......

Justin c. was really horrible in The Invisible. didn't mind him in War of the Worlds though. Still, as a fan of dbz, i can't really fit into Goku's shoes. I'll give the movie a few days for reviews and all that before i decide to see it.

I must be in the minority to dislike how ridiculous the story was when the characters would stand around and yell at each other for a half hour and then have some anti-climactic ha-du-kenesque fight.

First off, if you ever look at a different picture of Justin Chatwin, the little crap looks nothing like Goku. If anything, this picture is a bit of a relief, because his hair is a lot longer than normal and it has at least been spiked up (it's not gel, retards, it's clay.. gel gives a wet look and clay is dry.)

Bulma looks hot here. If you have read anything about this movie, you would know that they got rid of most of the good parts of Dragonball.. IE: no talking animals (Oolong, Puar gone), no dinosaurs, and no Krillin. That being said, it's obvious they are trying for a more modern look so they can sell the movie.

She would look goofy with turqoise hair, as would anyone. Deal with it.
