I do hope those who had been saying the official shots will be great and are still muttering things like the trailer will be great or the actual movie will be great will convert to the boycott nearly every Asian has joined soon, or else they'll be jumping off the cliff when this movie screens.

lets focus the movie is about the fight between piccolo and goku in the martial arts tournament, and goku he hasn´t got muscle thats is in dragonball z, the girl of the picture i think is milk not bulma, in this case i will wait for the trailer, because this movie have a lot to show. i hope the fights are more bigger and incredibles than the hole matrix saga

I think the pics look good, Bulma in a live action movie with blue hair would be ridiculous and stupid, obviously there leaning towards more realism, ala Batman Begins, as with Master Roshi, ok lets have an old guy with a frickin shell on his back the whole movie....uhhmm RETARDED! The movie is an Epic, not a carbon copy of the Cartoon, we already know what happended in the cartoon, so why would they make three movies witht eh same storyline, I think the storyline is perfect because, It introduces people who HAVENT seen or know anything about it to something amazing. Of course they'll have history, just open your minds and not your butts, and stop ucking yourselves over. mmmmmmmmmmmmmkay

I've only watched the show a few times...but this looks like a terrible adaptation....Goku at least.

I'm guessing they're going to Americanize it or something.

Now look, regardless of what we think about the pictures we are seeing or the casting choices around many of these retro movies coming out, we have to remember that they are going to make money. Even if every Dragonball fan (the original, not Z or GT because that is not what is going on here) decides to skip this movie, marketing is going to do their job. You have young actors that are going to appeal to a young audience. They will be a group of people who never saw the original series. It is happening all over the cinematic world. I saw a post from someone whose friends thought he was crazy when he told them that Harvey Dent became Two Face. The average movie goer does not read comics or watch the anime that is now on the big screen. Readers of comics and watchers of anime are loyal (in most cases ultra loyal because otherwise we would not be on a site like this ripping on Hollywood) but we are a small group compared to the amount of asses the ad execs want in the theaters. They will change things on every movie that they make because most groups have no loyalty to the fans that are so die hard and kept them popular. It sucks, but it is what we have to live with. I'm not saying stop, because people like us stopping is when they REALLY are able to start messing around with things. I hope you are all actively spreading the same messages to friends and family as well. The messages have to be made in terms of dollar signs, not just words on message boards. Ok, I'm completely off topic on this one. If the trailer looks even close I'll go see it; if not I'll outlive the writer and piss on his grave.

I have a lot more hope for this movie now that it looks like taking itself seriously.
