Kevin Greutert Directing Saw VI

ShockTillYouDrop.com talked to Saw V director David Hackl on Wednesday who revealed that Kevin Greutert will be making his feature directorial debut on Saw VI.

Greutert has served as editor on all the five "Saw" films and edited The Strangers, opening May 30th, as well.

Saw V is scheduled for an October 24, 2008 release. You can find more info on that installment here.

What I think is funniest about this is that the people getting promoted to Director for each sequel keep being brought up from lower and lower job levels. What's the director gonna be for Saw VII? The second cameraman for Saw IV-VI?

Saw is a fun franchise, I love it for its inventive kills the gore and the twist endings, though I admit Saw 4 didn't have the best twist ending, but it was a still a fun movie.
Final Destination another great fun horror franchise that you don't really go to see for the story you go for the kills, thats why all these movies are popular and they will stay that way as long as they continue with the inventive kills and the gore.
You people are worse than a bunch of teenage girls whine, whine, whine, its not Lord Of The Rings, whine, whine, whine...it's not Star Wars....whine, whine, whine.
