Ricci, Huston, Lucas and Bartha to be Gone

Christina Ricci, Anjelica Huston, Josh Lucas and Justin Bartha will star in Adam Davidson's drama Long Time Gone, based on April Stevens' 1994 debut novel "Angel Angel," says The Hollywood Reporter.

Ricci will play a mysterious woman who enters the life of a dysfunctional family and turns it upside down, one member at a time.

Karen McCullah Lutz wrote the screenplay, and is producing with Seth Jaret's Jaret Entertainment and Steven G. Kaplan & Gregg L. Daniel's Rainstorm Entertainment.

Sounds like a decent rebound film for Ricci (Speed Racer) and Lucas (Poseidon).

I have to defend the honor of Speed Racer. I thought it was a decent film. Its a lot better than most of what is out right now, unless you consider Made of Honor a classic. No rebound required, I say!

Christina Ricci has survived in this business because she has talent. Just like Robert Downey, Jr, she will continue to give great performances and one day find a film that crosses over to everyone. She's amazing.

I've been a Ricci fan since Mermaids, so I'll keep watching her movies (except I refuse to see Pumpkin and Penelope) and hope she finds that role that really puts her back on the map. I like the Addams Family reunion in casting. Can we get Christopher Lloyd a role?
