Eckhart on Dark Knight's Two-Face

May 5, 2008

In a new interview with the Los Angeles Times, Aaron Eckhart didn't shy away from dropping some big details about Two-Face in The Dark Knight. If you don't want to know a thing about the character in Christopher Nolan's movie, then be sure to turn back now!

Still here? Okay, here's just a small clip:

"I can tell you that, basically, when you look at Two-Face, you should get sick to your stomach. Being the guy under all that, well, that was a lot of fun for me. It's like you would feel if you met someone whose face had pretty much been ripped off or burned off with acid. I can't talk about it beyond that because I don't want to give away too much of the plans by Chris."

The thing is, he and Nolan did give away more in the interview, which includes a new photo and can be read in full here! The Batman Begins follow-up hits conventional theaters and IMAX on July 18.

Correcto if I'm wrong but I think Harvey Dent's Two-Face will be the same as Joker's intro in Batman Begins

Kryptonian I agree. I liked Iron Man very much! But Indy and Dark Knight are two of the 2008's most wanted sequels

I hope it doesn't go too much to the horror side. I have a weak stomach. I WILL vomit all 9 times I go to see this allegedly brilliant movie and it's sure-to-be phenomonal follow-up by (hopefully) 2011. What a year that will be! Just like this summer, with the return of a classic franchise (Indy) followed by Batman; then we'll have another classic franchise return (Hobbit) followed by Batman... awesome. I just hope they off the Joker in this one so Nolan doesn't try to replace Ledger and Two Face can have his own movie. Then maybe... Paul Bettany as the Riddler, Phillip Seymour Hoffman as the Penguin, Robin Williams as the Mad Hatter...? Oh, let a geek dream.
