First Look: Will Smith in Seven Pounds

TheBadandUgly.com has posted the first photos of Will Smith on the set of Columbia Pictures' Seven Pounds, coming to theaters on December 12. Smith is re-teaming with the director and producers of The Pursuit of Happyness for the emotional story of a man who will change the lives of seven strangers. Rosario Dawson, Woody Harrelson, Michael Ealy and Robinne Lee co-star.

yeah he's a great actor. People diss him and say he hasnt done anything good since Fresh Prince but all his movies have done well at the box office. He can be funny, serious, silly, and emotional. I look forward to Hancock and Seven Pounds.

I agree. I just feel that most of the people who don't think he's done any good work since Fresh Prince are mostly non-actors or people who think Harold and Kumar are Oscar award winning movies. Dont get me wrong I love Harold and Kumar but when you look at Will's growth since the Fresh Prince you'd have to be deaf, dumb, and blind to not see how talented he is. He not only puts asses in seats in the box office but he also does good work and I can say that being an actor myself.

I have to agree with all of you. Will smith is one of those special actors that can do any type of movie genre. He has done sci-fi, action, comedy, drama...you name it, and he can do it. Many holly actors today cant hold that torch. And yeah Will has his haters, but just like J says…it’s those same people that complain and ask why Harold and Kumar could come in second place to Baby’s Mama. I am for one saying that I am fortunate enough to see Will Smith at his prime doing his best work.

Will Smith is a amazing actor...people who say he hasnt been in good movies!!!Obvioudly have some problems!!!Properly one of the best films of all time 'Independence Day'!!!Enough said

Will Smith is probably the best actor from the "superstars" club. Far better than Cruise, Damon or Clooney.

Sadly, he wastes his talent in mostly mediocre movies, and just because they did well at the BO doesn't mean they're great. He was very good in I Am Legend, but the movie itself wasn't on par with his performance. He should pick better projects IMHO.

Will Smith is one of the most talented individuals -- he does both acting and music. He's appealing because he's personable -- everybody roots for him no matter what role he's in. And then to be so musically talented on top of that? A true thriple threat: acting, music, personality.
