Will director Matt Reeves and screenwriter Drew Goddard bring back Rob (Michael Stahl-David) for Cloverfield 2? It's a question ShockTillYouDrop.com asked the actor, who played the lead in the first film. Stahl-David talks about the end of the film, what is going on now with the sequel and whether he thinks he'll be asked back.

if they are going to do another Cloverfield movie, but not with the POV of another bistander with a camcorder, then Im all for it. the whole running and jumping, camera shaking gets tireing really quick. Maybe this time through the eyes of the military will be cool, and this time...please give us some sort of background story of the monster...and give it a name for God's sakes.

i think the beauty of the first movie was just wondering what happened when they nuked new york, i dont think they should do a follow up to answer the questions of where the monster came from and what happened to the chracter, i think it'll ruin the magic of the film

Meh...
The movie was okay at best and really doesn't garner a sequel.
They should have a new type of monster every movie if they were to take it further.

Good, i hope to see it in a differant town from either the military or a news crew point of view and yes keep the shaky cam just dont use it all the time(so that we can please the "weaker" people) and i dont care if its a differant monster this time as long as they in some way tell us that it has some connection to the first monster. And NO NAME AND FULL BACKSTORY!! for god's sake thats what makes this movie great is the mystery, they make little hints torwards its history but dont explain it to us.

Must make it rated R for one thing. I loved the first but I think it would be sick seeing an R rated monster flick. I've only seen one good one the mist. nobody agrees but I think that **** was amazing. Other then that bring rob and beth back. That would be kick ass...
