These Guys are Set to Go Fast and Furious

We've received the new plot summary for the newly-titled Fast and Furious, the Justin Lin-directed sequel starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, John Ortiz, Laz Alonso, Shea Whigham and Tego Calderon:

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker reteam for the ultimate chapter of the franchise built on speed -- "Fast and Furious." Heading back to the streets where it all began, they rejoin Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster to blast muscle, tuner and exotic cars across Los Angeles and floor through the Mexican desert in the new high-octane action-thriller.

When a crime brings them back to L.A., fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) reignites his feud with agent Brian O'Conner (Walker). But as they are forced to confront a shared enemy, Dom and Brian must give in to an uncertain new trust if they hope to outmanuever him. And from convoy heists to precision tunnel crawls across international lines, two men will find the best way to get revenge: push the limits of what's possible behind the wheel.

Fast and Furious is scheduled for a June 5, 2009 release.

If this sequel of a sequel of a sequel sucks will they finally kill the franchise off ??
Im getting sick of studios flogging a dead horse purely so they can make more of a buck !

Was it just me or was that one of the worst plot summaries ever? It was horribly written, lol, but the part of me that enjoys bad movies is looking forward to seeing this film.

Now, I dont like to presume the the masses are stupid, but I'm guessing that "new" title "Fast & Furious" aint gonna really make sense to many. At least "2 Fast 2 Furious" had some sort of hint at "sequel" with it's cunning use of the numbers 2 and 2 in the title. Just removing a couple of "the's" from the first movies title is just weird and.........it's just weird

Yeah! Iäm looking forward fort this one. But how can they namne the movie "Fast and Furious" while the first one is called "THE Fast and THE Furious", they're going to get mixed up. :S

I love cars and I respect Tuning, but this movies should be rated R. They show kids that driving fast cars in public roads is cool, when you see (in the movies) mortal accidents involving other people, characters don't care about, don't even notice. But hey, there's no sex and you won't hear any f**kso, it must be for general audiences, right? The first one was in my opinion a bad bad remake of 'Point Break', and Brian O'Conner character is a dumbass. Second one even worse, the 3rd was just a joke.

i disliked the first movie, and thought the third movie was fantastic, so i'll be interested in seeing this one.
also like the title. fast and furious. whew!
