Sony's Screen Gems has debuted the new trailer for the Neil LaBute thriller, Lakeview Terrace, opening in theaters on September 19.

In the film, a young couple (Patrick Wilson and Kerry Washington) has just moved into their California dream home when they become the target of their next-door neighbor, who disapproves of their interracial relationship. A stern, single father, this tightly wound LAPD officer (Samuel L. Jackson) has appointed himself the watchdog of the neighborhood. His nightly foot patrols and overly watchful eyes bring comfort to some, but he becomes increasingly harassing to the newlyweds. These persistent intrusions into their lives ultimately turn tragic when the couple decides to fight back.

ohh wow, I just imdb'd Neil Labute. Turns out he's responsible for the remake of Wicker Man. That's right, folks. The director of the Wicker Man remake still gets to make movies.

I think it looks good and Even though Neil made Wicker Man and as bad as that was he does have a chance to redeem himself. I'll give it a chance.

Sammy's great and all but lately he seems to be not too picky about his projects. The Man? Jumpers? I would never knock a man for getting paid but he needs to get back to form.
