Official Repo! The Genetic Opera Site Launched

Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures have launched the official website for director Darren Lynn Bousman's Repo! The Genetic Opera. The musical thriller stars Sarah Brightman, Anthony Head, Paris Hilton, Bill Moseley, Paul Sorvino, Alexa Vega and Kevin Ogilvie.

Set in the not-so-distant future, the production tells the story of an epidemic of organ failures that devastates the planet, killing tens of millions. As scientists feverishly make plans for a massive organ harvest program, a multi-billion dollar biotech company called GeneCo begins to manufacture salvation -- for a price -- offering simple payment plans to those lacking the necessary funds to purchase new body parts outright. But all financed organs are subject to default procedures, including repossession at the hand of the notorious organ repo men.

i know the movie doesnt look that great or even havin the paris hilton act, worseng the whole thing. But from now the only thing, i will say, when is the date?

Seriously? The woman who bastardized and continues to destroy Opera, the woman who patented the phrase: "that's hot" and give anyone with money a bad name, and the man who gave the world Mira Sorvino...all together in one movie!?!?!?!?!?!? Why don't accidents happen in the sets of movies like this one?

wow the 2 knuckle heads who posted first are a couple o winners rance close minded and joe asylo types with his knees, even with the bimbo p___s h____n it is fresh,new and never been done and the sound track is just so trick (not just because its my sceen) its not the lame ordinary stuff crammed down our throats by producers who thinks its the new best thing...

hahaha whaaaat??

The lyrics are weird... the music is kind of cool. i have to say, it's not the story drawing me in, it's how completely out there and bizarre the movie looks. I might risk this one if it's a musical and not an opera.
