Tropic Thunder One-Sheets and Banner

Paramount Pictures has provided us with three new posters and a banner for the Ben Stiller-directed Tropic Thunder, opening in theaters on August 15. The DreamWorks comedy stars Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Nick Nolte, Brandon Jackson, Steve Coogan, Danny McBride, Bill Hader, Jay Baruchel, Matt Levin, Andrea De Oliveira, Reggie Lee, Matthew McConaughey and Tom Cruise.

although its rasism for downey to play this (not like their isnt a black guy that could have played a... BLACK GUY!?..so they get a white guy?) but i guess they did this to hype the film up, whatever hollywood need to do to make a dollar... if anything it will show that downey junior is a good actor, and can play any race of person.. and he is gonna be in the iron man movie, which looks so good!

I've seen this billy guy post before, you don't seem to follow movies much.
Downey playing him is in no way racist... the character in the movie is in fact a white guy who undergoes a procedure to become a black guy. He's won so many awards that this is the only direction left for him.
So again, not racist... funny. Funny... not racist.

and as far as this tom cruise cameo that's supposed to be the greatest thing ever, here's my bet:

does anybody remember "mission:improbable"? It was the skit stiller did with cruise for the MTV movie awards where stiller plays his stunt double. Being that Stiller plays an action star in this movie, I'm willing to wager Cruise is coming in as that stunt man character to Stiller's action hero. To me, that would be priceless.

Add this to another movie I will have to see on the big screen - I just LOVE Robert Downey Jr! He can do anything! from romantic comedy (Heart and Souls) to psycho killer (In Dreams).He is one of the most talented actors of all time. I am so glad to see him on top again - hope he has worked out his personal demons.

Couple things.......These posters are awesome but they are NOT new. I've had them up at the theatre i work at for several weeks now. second, as someone else said tom cruise isn't playing ben stiller[s stuntman. but he's not quite just some bald fat dude. I saw on imdb yesterday that he is playing a bald foul mouthed movie mogul. which sounds like it could be freaking hilarious to me.
