Update: The X Files 2 Trailer Bootleg Online!

At Wednesday evening's "X Files" panel at the Paleyfest in Hollywood, director Chris Carter gave attendees a first glimpse at the new trailer for 20th Century Fox's The X Files 2, opening in theaters on July 25. You can watch a bootleg version of the trailer below, but the completed trailer is expected to hit theaters with Iron Man on May 2.

UPDATE: The studio has pulled the trailer from YouTube.

That's all we get to see from this bootleg! Oh well, hopefully they will show this trailer in front of Iron Man at my theater.

Trailer was disappointing. It simply looks like a TV episode of the X-Files...doubt it will attract newbies or people who gave up watching the series.

Hmm...it does come across as a regular TV episode as oppose to something more appropriate for the big screen. Regrettable.

how the hell can you people tell that it comes across as a T.V. episode from a short bootleg teaser that's on youtube. i can't wait for this one. even if it is only an "episode" as a fan of the x-files that's good enough for me.
