"they will make one of these every year until people stop seeing them"

and hopefully that will be very soon... the sequels have all been trash compared to the first (and best)

Saw III's my favorite of the bunch. I prefer an actual story (Saw I, III) over an excess of traps (II, IV).

I hate Saw and the people that created this franchise. Why do they even bother making this film anyway?

Lets just hope they wrap it up at six. Indefinately, with all questions answered and no loose ends. Thus no prequels, sequels, re-imagining, remakes... One can have dreams, right...

The only reason we get another saw is because of good box office, story has nothing to do with it. This franchise has become a parody of itself.

These movies are the Friday the 13th of this generation. As long as these movies continue to be made for a few million and rake in 10 times that much...they will continue to get made.
Nearly all the F13 films made back their money in the opening weekend and then took sharp declines in their second....much like the Saw films. I think they are getting progressively stupid but you can't argue with millions of dollars.
