Four More Join Gervais' Truth

Ricky Gervais has revealed on his Blog for This Side of the Truth that John Hodgman ("The Daily Show with Jon Stewart"), Tina Fey ("30 Rock," "Saturday Night Live"), Christopher Guest (Best in Show) and Jeffrey Tambor (Hellboy II: The Golden Army, "Arrested Development") have joined the cast of his new comedy at Warner Bros. Pictures.

They join the previously announced Jennifer Garner, Rob Lowe, Jonah Hill, Louis C.K. and Gervais in the cast.

The film is set in a contemporary world where no one has ever lied. Gervais will play a performer who tells the first lie and harnesses its power for personal gain.

Gervais and Matt Robinson wrote the script.

Wow...that's an awfully impressive cast for a comedy. Jeffrey Tambor is one of the most underrated comic actors today, and Christopher Guest is one of the funniest humans alive. I'm wondering if Tina Fey can get over that SNL schtick that she does to death in all her post-SNL work; I hope so, she'll be better for it.

Stephen Merchant and Shaun Williamson(Barry from eastenders for anyone in the UK) are making a cameo in the film, I hope that guest will have more parts together with Gervais than in For Your Consideration.

Gervais was in 'For Your Consideration', directed by Guest, so I guess that gave it away that they got on...
Why would he lie that Christopher Guest liked him? If you are going to lie, why not make it a bit better...

Lets hope that fat little overated pillock...

A. Doesn't joke about children having cancer like he did in his stand up shows.

B. Doesn't do anything to show his limited comedy talent like he did at the Princess Diana concert.

Peter Sellers, Christopher Guest,Ronnie Barker etc etc are comic genius's.He isn't.
This bloke is the luckiest prat alive.
