Exclusive: Enchanted Stills vs. Classic Disney

On Tuesday, March 18, Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release the $310 million worldwide blockbuster Enchanted on both DVD and Blu-ray Disc. We have for you below an exclusive look at six scenes that depict Enchanted stills vs. the source of Classic Disney inspiration.

A fairytale comes to life in this 3-time Academy Award®-nominated new Disney classic! Princess Giselle embarks on an exciting fish-out-of water adventure that takes her from her fantasy Kingdom of Andalasia to the very real world of New York City. When the beautiful Giselle is banished by an evil queen from her magical, musical animated land she finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a ''happily ever after'' basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. Although she is already promised to a perfect fairytale prince back home, she begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer who has come to her aid and wonders, can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?

The Kevin Lima-directed film stars Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, Timothy Spall, Idina Menzel, Rachel Covey and Susan Sarandon.

well it was all deliberate. originally the film was written to be a kind of spoof/pastiche of all Disney's previous work. But after the success of Shrek it couldnt really be made, so it was altered and now just has little hints. There are loads loads more in the film (like when Giselle bites the apple and falls, the shot is an exact replica of Snow White)

So there you go!

hahaha... I was planning to do the same (search and compare) screencaps of the disney classics and Enchanted scenes... but I still didnt have time..

You also has the apple with the "CARAMELO SKULL" that looks exactly like the appel from Snowhite when the witches bewitched it in the cauldron.
