Exclusive: Next Terminator Movie Without a Title

ComingSoon.net has learned that Warner Bros. Pictures' new "Terminator" film, to be directed by McG, is now without a title. It was previously known as Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.

The sci-fi action-thriller stars Christian Bale (The Dark Knight) and Sam Worthington (Avatar). The pic will reinvent the cyborg saga with a storyline to be told over a three-movie span. It is set in the future, in a full-scale war between Skynet and humankind.

The studio is targeting a May 22, 2009 release.

I kinda felt the "Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins" was a long and weak title. I think it should just be simple.

Anyways, we'll see how this develops.

except sell out and make an unwanted sequel to a franchise that has been pissed on since 2003?

after the awful Terminator 3, does anyone REALLY want another set of films without the series creator? just let it die with what minute bit of dignity it has left after a terrible sequel and a terrible spin-off show that actually features teenage girl terminators.

Good thing they scrapped that title.
"Terminator: Salvation" might better.
"Terminator: The Future Begins" sounds even better. But "Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins," bah! Too much.

Guess they ran out of ideas... iap33, you're right. My sympathy for Bale for participating in this "re-imagining". They really should have let it died out.
