Indiana Jones to Premiere at Cannes?

Steven Spielberg's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will debut at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday, May 18, says Variety. That's four days before the anticipated film opens day-and-date worldwide May 22.

The cast, which includes Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf and Cate Blanchett, have already been notified to pack their black-tie outfits for the French Riviera's red carpet unspooling even though the festival has yet to confirm its official lineup. That won't happen until April.

Director Spielberg, who is still editing and scoring the film, has not shown "Indy 4" to anyone yet.

Scoring the film? What happened to John Williams?

They just mean he and Williams are in the process of scoring. The director is involved in the scoring process, especially a director aspowerful as Spielberg.

Those of you who are quick to throw this film under the bus...I can't wait for you to have to eat your own words. This film is going to be kick ass. This along with "Crossing Over" are going to be the films that revitalize Harrison Ford's Legendary status, with the younger generation.

i am so excited to see this movie. but i would like to see Mr. Ford revitalize some other old characters too, like Blade Runner or even Han Solo, I know George Lucas has got to have 3 more movies left in him.
