Early Review of The Ruins

ShockTillYouDrop.com has posted an early, positive review of DreamWorks' The Ruins, coming to theaters on April 4. Directed by Carter Smith, the horror-thriller stars Jonathan Tucker, Laura Ramsey, Jena Malone and Shawn Ashmore.

Based on the Scott Smith novel, the film centers on a group of friends whose leisurely Mexican holiday takes a turn for the worse when they accompany a fellow tourist on a remote archaeological dig in the jungle, where something evil lives among the ruins.

I read this book and seriously wish I hadn't. It was so predictable and boring. It seems that studios are getting desperate for material when they stoop as low as this crap novel to make a movie.

Do you guys absorb what you read? I read this book and it was one of the scariest books I've read ( I read stephen king, koontz all horror and murder mysteries) The scary part of this book is the discovering that there is no escape no matter what. That is what makes this book so scary
