Kodi Smit-McPhee Travels The Road

The Hollywood Reporter says Australian actor Kodi Smit-McPhee (Romulus, My Father) is hitting the post-apocalyptic road with Viggo Mortensen in the film adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's Pulitzer Prize winner The Road.

Smit-McPhee will play Mortensen's son in the tale of a monthslong journey across a barren U.S. landscape after a cataclysmic event destroyed most of life on Earth.

Charlize Theron co-stars in the Dimension Films drama.

2929 Productions, Nick Wechsler Productions and Chockstone Pictures are producing.

I haven't read this book I'm always excited about a good post-apocalyptic story. And, as an extra plus, it's based on a bool by Cormac McCarthy! There is no way this movie wont be good, even All The Pretty Horses was good. I'm excited!!!!
