when Beyonce plays etta james in the new movie cadillac records she better win a golden globe then an oscar.

Some are asking if Beyonce is "FIT" to play "Etta James."

~~First, I am appall and offended by the word “FIT” in reference to “Boyonce.”~~

This Beautiful ( both inside and out) , intelligent, super talented, young lady can accomplish anything she set her mind to do....I am from the era of old school (I'm 60 years old) and a big fan of Etta James.~~

Yes, Yes, Boyonce can play Etta James, she sings with deep feeling and “SOUL!~~

What a "Beautiful Black Young Lady” appealing to the"HUMAN EYES." She's a Song Bird and a field of “Long Stem French Tulips.” ~~I commend her Parents for a job well done! ~~May God Bless This Family Always..

These are all questions that I too asked. I wondered if Beyonce is going to lip-synch or sing. But whether or not she sing, I believe that Beyonce will be a hit and knock it out of the ballpark. Look at the wonderfully, fantastic job that Angela Bassett did for Tina Turner. And Angela is not a singer or a professional dancer.

You go girl! I can't wait to see it. I love Etta James and she deserves to be remembered as one of the best.

i am axiously waiting for the release of this movie. i was blown away by beyonce's performance in dream girls. she embodied diana ross (especially in the disco scene).

as a huge beyonce fan, i have noticed that she studies and delivers everytime. she once did a tribute to tina turner at the kennedy center and tina was in the audience, everyone, tina included was spell bound.

i dont understand why some people have trouble recognizing beyonce's talent. a few years ago she wowed at the oscars singing with josh brogan and again the same night, she sang in french with the vienna boys choir.

in oct. or nov. of this year she will sing the theme to the new james bond movie 007. say what you want beyonce delivers everytime. even when she fell down 12 steps during a live performance she got up on beat and the show went on.

and to all those who question beyonce's talent and abilities.... i challenge you to name one other entertainer who is able to dance and perform and sing live as beyonce does...

in a day of highly produced artist... beyonce is one of few who has authentic talent.

we will just have to wait and see how she does with the role of etta james..... just hide and watch.....

oh and one more thing.... you do know that etta james interviewed beyonce personally for the role and after working with beyonce and seeing how her work ethic and ability gave her full blessing.
