I'm very disspointed that Arnold isn't coming back for the new trilogy but, I do believe the series has a fighting chance with Christian Bale as the new John Connor I also think if the rumors are true that if James Cameron is lending a helping to the story and the cast then the fourth installment could capitalize on the third one. I do believe this one could possibly be better than the third one just because Arnold was in the last one doesn't mean it was any good it was actually the most dissapointing movie to date so I'm surely not going to be biosed because Schwarzenegger was apart of it and I'm a huge Arnold fan myself but, I really hope this director can fill Cameron shoes or at least make up for the third one.

Christian Bale as new John connor is a very good choice, although not the best. He is a good actor in my opinion and can pull it off, but I'm not expecting a spectacular job. As for Arnold, I would have loved to see him in this movie -even if just the end of it- but there is the fact that he's aged enough that his physical condition can not make him look like the badass T-101 he used to be. So Arnie is all good and great and we'll all miss his accent making the portrait of a terminator complete but it is best he is left outside this movie and the others that will follow this one.

As far as post-apocalyptic world goes, I'm hoping for a good job of it since this sort of setting has been tried in games, movies etc. before and they should be able to build a realistic and visually pleasing one.

As an important note I'd like to add that I hope they will go into a bit detail about how and why Skynet comes to the point of building human-looking machines.
