Ellis Returns for Final Destination 4

November 20, 2007

David R. Ellis (Final Destination 2) has signed to direct and develop Final Destination 4, the latest installment of New Line's popular horror series, which the studio plans to shoot in 3-D.

While plot details for "FD4" are being kept under wraps, the movie will stand alone: It will feature new teens facing new forms of death.

The script was written by Eric Bress, who co-wrote Final Destination 2.

The "Final Destination" films have been solid performers for New Line since they debuted in 2000. The first film grossed $53.3 million, the 2003 sequel made $46.5 million and the third, released in 2006, collected $54 million.

The 4th installment of final destination will revolve around a teens premonition of a deadly race-car crash, which of course will change the lives of those involved, surely to bring the audience a gory good time. I wonder what they'll do this time with the "death scenes"

I think this sounds dumb. Should be about a ship wreck or something to do with water. Enough of this car bull.

FD4?...race-car crash?...yeah.i agree with that...enough of the car crash thingy...i think it's better if the movie starts with a premonition about a bomb explotion o an any sports arena.so that everyone will remember final destination in almost everywhere...roller coaster, plane crash, road accidents...why try sports venues, such as basketball court, track and field oval...it will be cool, also because it's olympics season...

A part 4! Yes, can't wait. The plot sounds nice. First a car crash now a race car crash between teens how cool.

they have already made a freak accident movie about being a boat at sea it is called Ghost Ship look it up, watch it then come pair it to peoples comments(on FD4) and all the Final Destinations(includeing 4) then go to yahoo and type in Final Destination 4 on images and then click on the first poster with the words Final Destination 4 (roman numerals on 4) read it then come pair the poster ship and theme to Ghost ship then email me at myfirstnamemylastname1128@gmail.com and we will talk about why it should be a race car crash. (I know my horror movies)

I can't wait for #4! Personally, I think the NASCAR themed accident sounds cool; that'll cause some heart stopping moments on the big screen. Engines exploding, and tires and metal and glass flying out into the stands. That's scary to me. Especially because that can realistically happen. More believeable than the roller coaster going awry, thats for sure. And for all you that want a boat accident...what would happen? Ooh, the boat would sink and they would get into a lifeboat...thrilling (sarcastic grin here). They have to be put into a situation that they are able to avoid once the premonition hits, and if you're on a boat out to sea, you can't exactly just decide you don't want to be there anymore. Lol. Think people, think!
