Warner Bros. Snaps Up Skulduggery

Warner Bros. Pictures has acquired the film rights to Irish author Derek Landy's book Skulduggery Pleasant, as well as future titles in the potential nine-book series, reports Variety.

Pete Czerin and Graham Broadbent of U.K. Blueprint Pictures are attached to produce the comic-horror adventure.

Landy, who has written several horror films, will adapt.

Set in contemporary Dublin, "Skulduggery" is about a wise-cracking skeleton detective and his young female accomplish, who together try to stop the return of the evil Faceless Ones.

I agree. PEOPLE SHOULD READ THESE BOOKS instead of TWIlIGHT because they are better WRITTEN and BETTER in GENERAL.

They keep turning the worst books into bad movies. Where is my Harry Dresden movie? Let Keanu be Dresden and get a Scott brother to direct.
