Adam Sandler's Bedtime Stories Come True

Adam Sandler will topline Disney's family comedy Bedtime Stories, set to begin production later this year with Adam Shankman (Hairspray) directing.

Disney said Tuesday it has set the film for a holiday 2008 release and noted "Stories" marks Sandler's first feature project for the Walt Disney Pictures banner. He previously worked for Disney on the 1998 Touchstone comedy The Waterboy.

Sandler will portray a harried real estate developer whose life is suddenly turned upside down when the lavish bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew begin to come true.

Matt Lopez wrote the script. The film will be produced by Andrew Gunn's Gunn Films, Sandler and producing partner Jack Giarraputo through Happy Madison Productions. Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot, and Anne Marie Sanderlin will executive produce.

I think it's great that adam sandler and lucy lawless are doing a movie together and lucy always plays the best characters and many of you may know her as Xena Warrior Princess.Good Luck Lucy I know this movie will be the best.

I love LUCY!! She's the most beautiful, talented woman to hit the screen in years. We want to see MORE of her. How are her and her children...and what's Rob doing these days...hope you're still in love with him. He's a real man. I've gotten every DVD and movie or show that Lucy's been in...she's MY kind of Actress!!

I'm soooo excited for this movie! Lucy Lawless is absolutely my favorite actress and I also really like Cortney Cox and I think Adam Sandler is hilarious!!!

I'm so thrill to know Lucy is finally starring in a theatrical movie! She's such a magnificent actress and she definitelly deserves it, she's the greatest actress ever by far, I cannot understand why she don't get much more recognition and more and better roles. I cannot wait to see this movie, I'm sure it's gonna rock.

OH MY GOD YES LUCY! :) I cannot begin to describe how excited and anticipating I am of this film, did you all know Lucy went to Sandler's birthday party several years ago almost naked and they went bowling, OH MY GOD LUCY! :) Many thanks for the great and sexxxy support and enthusiasm of Lucy here. I believe She turned down various roles and concentrated on family life more shortly after Xena.

This should be titled "Erotic Bedtime Stories" with Lucy Lawless and Guy Pierce (sounds like an erotic feature, Oh My God Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees Lucy! :) )

I am another big fan of Lucy Lawless and I can't wait to see her finally on the big screen! She is a really awesome actress and very talented, not to mention beautiful. I know she will be great in this upcoming film. Hey being the kick ass Warrior Princess how can you not?

I seriously hope that one day I will be able to meet her personally and get a pic of her. It would brighten up my day :-)
