Fifty Shades of Grey Pushed Back to Valentine's Day 2015

Universal Pictures and Focus Features have pushed back director Sam Taylor-Johnson's Fifty Shades of Grey from an August 1, 2014 release to February 13, 2015. In related news, EW is featuring stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson on the cover for its new issue, and you can check out the pics below. They play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the adaptation of the best-selling book series. Joining them in the cast are Luke Grimes as Christian's brother, Elliot, Victor Rasuk as Anastasia's close friend, Josť, and Jennifer Ehle as Anastasia's mother, Carla.

Other films scheduled for February 13, 2015 are the Nicolas Sparks adaptation The Longest Ride and SpongeBob SquarePants 2.

Universal has also set new dates for two other films. Tate Taylor's Get On Up, featuring Chadwick Boseman as James Brown, has been moved up from October 17, 2014 to August 1, 2014. It will now face Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy. And Gary Shore's Dracula Untold, starring Luke Evans, will now be released on October 17, 2014. Also scheduled on that date are another Nicholas Sparks adaptation, The Best of Me, and the Guillermo del Toro-produced Book of Life.
