A sequel to 2010's Hot Tub Time Machine is on the way with Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke and Chevy Chase reprising their roles with new parts for Adam Scott and Gillian Jacobs. Although John Cusack is not returning, Corddry today tells CraveOnline that the film will still have a direct connection to his original character.
"Adam Scott is playing his son from 10 years in the future," Corddry explains, "His son that was conceived in 1986 on the night with Jenny Stedmeyer."
Corddry's Lou, meanwhile, is a billionaire who "practically owns New Orleans" thanks to his alterations to the timeline at the end of the first film.
Director Steve Pink is once again behind the camera for Hot Tub Time Machine 2, which has not yet announced a release date.
