Mackenzie Foy is the latest name to join the cast of Christopher Nolan's upcoming science fiction tale Interstellar. The Hollywood Reporter brings word that the young actress will star opposite Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Bill Irwin and Casey Affleck.
Directed and written by Nolan, Interstellar is based on a script by Jonathan Nolan. The film will be produced by Emma Thomas and Christopher Nolan of Syncopy Films and Obst of Lynda Obst Productions. Kip Thorne will executive produce.
Interstellar will depict a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding. The movie hits theaters on November 7, 2014.
Foy is best known for playing Renesmee Cullen, the daughter of Kristen Stewart's Bella and Robert Pattinson's Edward, in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2. She can also be seen on the big screen in next week's James Wan supernatural thriller The Conjuring.
