It has been a troubled week for the just-launched production of the Western Jane Got a Gun. Yesterday, word broke that director Lynne Ramsay was a no-show on the first day of filming, leaving producers Natalie Portman (who is also starring) and Scott Steindorff scrambling to find a replacement.

This morning, Warrior director Gavin O'Connor was named as her replacement but Deadline is now reporting that, due to Ramsay's departure, star Jude Law is leaving the production as well.

Jane Got a Gun centers on a woman who must ask an ex-lover for help in order to save her outlaw husband from a gang who are out to kill him.

Joel Edgerton and Rodrigo Santoro are still attached to star alongside Portman.
