Following the success of David O. Russell's Oscar-nominated Silver Linings Playbook, Columbia Pictures has slated his next, still-untitled project for December. The film will see a limited release on December 13 and will expand everywhere on Christmas Day.

Reteaming Silver Lining Playbook's Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, the film also stars Christan Bale, Jeremy Renner and Louis CK.

Based on the true story of a notorious financial con artist and his mistress/partner in crime, who were forced to work with an out of control federal agent to turn the tables on other con artists, mobsters, and politicians. At the epicenter of the entire tale, is the passionate and volatile leader of the New Jersey state assembly who is also the local hero and mayor of impoverished Camden.
