Following yesterday's major casting announcement, Birdman has added another star in Edward Norton. Deadline reports that the Fight Club actor will star alongside Zach Galifianakis, Michael Keaton, Emma Stone and Naomi Watts in the Alejandro Gonzalez Inaritu (Amores Perros, Babel) film.

Co-written by Inaritu with Armando Bo, Alexander Dinelaris and Nicolas Giacobone, Birdman follows an actor famous for having once played a popular superhero over a three day period during which he makes an attempt to mount a Broadway play.

Inaritu will produce alongside Robert Graf and John Lesher with production planned to begin later this month.
