Ubisoft has announced the release date for their upcoming game Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be August 20, 2013. They've also debuted a new trailer for the game which you can see below.

In Splinter Cell: Blacklist, you play as Sam Fisher who is now the acting commander of Fourth Echelon. The game will be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Ubisoft is in the process of having the franchise adapted to film with The Dark Knight Rises star Tom Hardy recently signing on to play Sam Fisher on the big screen.
