Activision Blizzard's "Call of Duty" game franchise is one of the biggest money makers every year, but the company's CEO and president, Bobby Kotick, has told the New York Times (via Movieline) that they are not interested in turning the games into a movie.

"CALL OF DUTY may look like a movie, but Mr. Kotick has little interest in turning it into one — and has turned down several studios’ requests. He says movies based on video games rarely please devoted fans and could taint the brand."

Do you agree? Do you think a studio could make a movie that would be true to the brand?
