The LEGO video games are a very popular lot and it wasn't long after the first intellectual property got the LEGO treatment that we all started making a wishlist of the titles we want to see. If you're a fan of the series, then a LEGO The Lord of the Rings game sounds like an incredible experience. The announcement of it came just a few months ag,o but now we've got a proper look at the game below.

The game is set to be released in October of this year and will feature the music and voice acting from the three films. While it will also carry the traditional slapstick humor of the other LEGO games, the developers have said it will be toned down for this game in particular. LEGO The Lord of the Rings will be available for the PC, Nintendo Wii, Wii U, 3ds, PS Vita, PS3 and Xbox 360.
